HISTORY GROUP
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HISTORY THIS IS THE GROUP FOR YOU!
The History Group is open to all the members of the Burton u3a and affiliated u3a’s, and all are welcome; you do not need to come regularly; just come if there is a topic that interests you, like going to the cinema. We have some great talks lined up by well-known speakers, so why not give us a try?
If it is your first time, it is always a good idea to just drop us a line using the connection email above.
We meet on the second Thursday of every month between 10:00 and 12:00 am in the room at the rear of the Riverside Church on the High Street, almost opposite the entrance to Meadowside Leisure Centre. Just follow the little footpath down the lefthand side of the Church to the door at the end of the path and come in.
Entry is still £2 per member, after that all you need is your membership card.
We stop around half time for a tea/coffee and biscuit break, and it is only 20p, the best value you will get anywhere! The company is also great.
