Every wondered why ordinary folk want to recreate scenes from the past? You may find out at Rob's presentation. Following an interesting talk earlier in the year to Lichfield u3a, Rob Elliott will bring a selection of reproduction uniforms, edged weapons, firearms and accoutrements for people to look at and examine. Rob is an amateur historian and re-enactor and passionate about his topic area focusing on the 1740s and 1750s. This period covers the War of Austrian Succession, the Seven Years War and the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion.
