This is a group for people who enjoy cycling. We meet once a month on the second Wednesday morning of the month. Rides will usually start around 9:30am and we aim to finish around lunchtime.

Join us on a monthly cycle ride on pre-planned road route. Each ride includes a break at a cycle-friendly cafe before the homeward journey.

The basic requirements to join the group are: a road-safe cycle, helmet, and suitable clothing.

Our next ride will be to the World Peace Cafe at the Tara Centre, led by Steve.  Details of the ride are below. Please note the later start time.

Date:  Wednesday, 23rd September 2026

Destination: World Peace Cafe, Tara Centre, Ash Lane, Etwall, DE65 6HT

Meeting point: Pirelli Stadium, by the pedestrian crossing, Princess Way

Departing at : 10.00am (please note the later start time)

Route: Stretton, Rolleston, Marston Lane, Etwall

Return: Sutton on the Hill, Church Broughton, Scorpion, Hatton, Tutbury, Rolleston, Stretton

Distance: 23 miles 

Remember: always carry a pump spare inner tupes/puncture kit & tools all suited to your bike.  Wear clothing suited to the weather.  Membership card with ICE details.  Security chain.

NB:  Please check your emails/WhatsApp on the Wednesday morning by 8.30am latest, in case we cancel the ride due to poor weather conditions.
