The "Painting for Beginners" has been very successful with members turning out some very good paintings. The group had an exhibition at the Burton Library which started on the 5th February on to the 4th March. These paintings are from people who thought they could not paint 11 months ago.

The group is a rolling group, which means any one can join at any time. People say to me "I would love to paint, but I can't". My reply to that is "You can, come along and you will in a few weeks, you will produce a painting worthy hanging on your wall at home."

After our summer break, we are taking on new members.

So start doing what you have always thought you could not do. My answer to you all who are thinking like that is YOU CAN, within a few weeks you will have a painting you will be proud of hanging on your wall at home. Just come and have a look. We start again on the 2nd of September, at the Priory Centre in Stretton at 10:00 until 12:00.

I have just return from York University at u3a's Festival 24 where I took 3 classes of people who thought they couldn't paint, but paint they did, and there were quite a few who were amazed at what the had achieved

I`ll look forward to seeing you there.
